New interpretive signs for the Morro Bay National Estuary Program

January 2nd, 2008 | Comments Off on New interpretive signs for the Morro Bay National Estuary Program

The Morro Bay estuary is one of the top 10 birding sites in the country. One goal for these beautiful new interpretive panels is environmental education about the wonderfully diverse bird life that exists in Morro Bay.

The bird identification panel helps people engage with the environment. The food and watershed panels help people gain a deeper awareness of the complex relationships between the birds and their home. Our hope is that people will care about the life of the bay, and take care not to harm it through irresponsible behaviors such as littering. The panels are 36” x 24” and a half-inch thick.
